These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding contract between the client (“you”) and Nura Lab (“Nura Lab”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and apply to the ordering, purchase, fulfilment and delivery of goods (“Goods”) from our website.
By placing an order for Goods from Nura Lab, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before placing your order.
SECTION 1: Legal Rights
Your purchase of Goods comes with guarantees subject to New Zealand consumer law. Under these laws, all products must be of acceptable quality, reasonably fit for purpose, and must correspond to their description.
If you experience a major failure with our goods or services, you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from our product or service. If the goods fail to be of acceptable quality but the problem does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.
SECTION 2: Prices and Taxes
Prices for Goods are displayed on our website.
- Nura Lab reserves the right to change the prices of Goods at any time without notice.
- All prices of Goods are quoted in your local currency (or USD).
- Local taxes and duties may apply to your order depending on your delivery location.
SECTION 3: Orders
3.1 Placing an Order
Once you are ready to make a purchase, add items to your cart, proceed to checkout, and complete your order.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- An order submitted by you is an offer to purchase the Goods for the price shown at the time of submission of your order. Nura Lab may accept or reject your offer at its absolute discretion.
- You have checked your order carefully, as an order may not be able to be cancelled once it has been accepted by Nura Lab.
- Your order, if accepted by Nura Lab, will form a separate and binding agreement between you and Nura Lab for the supply of the Goods, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and Terms of Sale.
- All information you provide is complete, true, and accurate.
3.2 Offer and Acceptance of an Order
When you submit an order, you will receive an automatic email acknowledging that we have received it. This does not mean your order has been accepted, even if payment has been made. Your order constitutes an offer by you to buy the Goods at the price shown in the order.
- All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We are not obliged to accept your order and may, at our discretion, decline to accept it.
- By completing the checkout process, you acknowledge that you enter into an obligation to pay for the Goods if your order is accepted.
- Client orders are not accepted by Nura Lab until they have been processed and approved at our headquarters.
- Our acceptance of your order creates a binding agreement between you and Nura Lab for the supply of the Goods, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Nura Lab may cancel your order after payment has been made in the circumstances set out in these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to:
- The product is out of stock or discontinued;
- The price or product description was incorrect (in accordance with Section 2 “Prices and Taxes”);
- A website or technical error causes the price to change during the checkout process;
- Your order is suspected to be fraudulent in accordance with Section 3.3.
In these cases, Nura Lab will contact you as soon as possible to discuss options.
If Nura Lab cancels your order after payment has been processed, we will refund the payment.
Nura Lab reserves the right to correct any errors when they occur and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
3.3 Payment of an Order
Payment for orders can be made by credit card (please contact us for our list of accepted credit cards), or Nura Lab gift card (if applicable).
Nura Lab may be unable or may decline to accept payment from you for reasons including, but not limited to:
- The name on the credit card/account does not match the name on the order, or the order and payment appear suspicious;
- Our fraud detection systems identify possible irregularities;
- Your financial institution declines payment or flags a suspected breach;
- Your credit card has expired.
In such cases, Nura Lab may refuse to accept your order or place it on hold and request additional information (such as proof of identity).
If we do not hear back from you, or we do not accept your proof of identity due to suspected fraud, Nura Lab reserves the right to cancel your order.
3.4 Cancellation of Orders
Nura Lab reserves the right to cancel, at any time before delivery and for any reason, an order that has been previously accepted. This may occur for reasons such as those listed in Clauses 3.2 or 3.3, or including but not limited to:
- The Goods were subject to an error on the website (technical error, description, price, or image error) that was not detected before accepting the order;
- Our suppliers are unable to supply Goods they had previously agreed to supply;
- An event beyond Nura Lab’s control (such as storm, fire, flood, earthquake, terrorism, power failure, system failure, etc.) prevents us from supplying the Goods within a reasonable time.
You may ask Nura Lab to cancel your order only:
- If Nura Lab has breached a material term of this agreement;
- Prior to our acceptance of your order.
Where Nura Lab cancels your order, we will send you an email (automated or written) notifying you of the cancellation.
If payment has already been processed, Nura Lab will refund any money paid in respect of that order.
Nura Lab is not liable to you or any other person for any loss, damage, cost, or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of cancellation of your order.
SECTION 4: Availability and Delivery of Goods
4.1 Availability
Most Nura Lab items are made to order. Production time for jewellery can be up to approximately 50 business days (subject to change during peak periods), depending on the item.
- Nura Lab endeavours to deliver goods in a timely manner, but delays can occasionally occur.
- We cannot guarantee the constant availability of all stock items, nor specific delivery times for any product.
For the most accurate information on timing for a specific piece, please contact us directly.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Delivery times may vary from product to product;
- Any delivery times provided are estimates only and delays may occur;
- Delays are more likely during busy seasons;
- Nura Lab will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of delays in delivery or in the availability of Goods for collection.
4.2 Delivery
Risk and title in the Goods pass to you on the date and time the Goods are delivered to the delivery address provided in your order. Please note this may not include requiring a signature on delivery from you.
- After dispatch, Nura Lab will email you a dispatch confirmation including a tracking number so you can track your order.
- On delivery, you may be required to sign as proof of delivery. If you are not available, your parcel may be taken to your nearest postal hub or collection point.
- If your parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address supplied by you, or because it was not collected within a reasonable timeframe, we will attempt re‑delivery at a later date. A reasonable redelivery fee may be charged. We will contact you for approval of this charge before proceeding.
4.3 Pick Up of Goods In‑Store
If Nura Lab operates a showroom or collection point, you may elect to pick up your Goods in person (where available). This option, if offered, can be selected at checkout. There is no charge for this service.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Only the person who placed the order may collect the Goods, unless otherwise agreed with Nura Lab;
- Nura Lab may request photo identification on collection to verify that you are the purchaser. If requested, you must allow Nura Lab to take a copy of your identification for fraud prevention purposes. This copy will not be used for any other purpose;
- You may collect the Goods once your order has been accepted and you have received a notification that they are ready for collection;
- Nura Lab may refuse collection if you cannot or will not meet these requirements.
SECTION 5: Refunds of Your Money
Where Nura Lab is required to refund your payment in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Nura Lab will endeavour to process your refund within 2 business days during business hours, unless otherwise specified;
- Nura Lab may process the refund in part payments in line with our merchant bank’s processes;
- The time it takes for the funds to reach you will depend on how quickly your financial institution processes the refund.
SECTION 6: Overdue Payment
If you have not responded to our request for final payment within 28 days of completion of your item, Nura Lab reserves the right to sell or repurpose the item as payment for the product or service provided. This will only be done as a last resort. We will give you every reasonable opportunity to make payment and collect the item before exercising this right.
SECTION 7: Uncollected Goods
Clients with goods that have not been collected within 28 days of notification of completion will receive a final reminder to collect their goods. If we receive no response after 90 days, Nura Lab reserves the right to dispose of the goods.
SECTION 8: Return of Goods
You should check your Goods as soon as they are delivered to ensure they have not been damaged in transit. If you notice any transit damage, please contact Nura Lab immediately.
If there is an issue with the Goods you received, please refer to our Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
To return Goods to us, please follow these steps:
- Contact us first to advise us of your intention to return the item;
- Wrap the jewellery securely in its original packing or in a protective shipping container (e.g. bubble wrap or a padded envelope);
- Include a note with your contact details and reason for return;
- Postage and insurance are your responsibility and at your cost. For your protection, please ship the item insured, with tracking and proof of delivery (such as a signature on receipt);

Nura Lab will contact you once we have received your return.
By returning your package, you acknowledge that Nura Lab is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
SECTION 9: Privacy
Nura Lab’s policy on the collection, use, and disclosure of clients’ personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
SECTION 10: General
- Your use of our website is governed by these Terms and Conditions.
- Nura Lab reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice. Any amendments take effect from the time they are published on the website.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
